The Cutting Room Orchestra

Created by cuttingroomexp January 1, 1970 in Classical Music

Manchester was the first city in the world to have a professional orchestra. When Charles Halle in 1858 he started off a profession that would capture the worlds imagination.

We want to unite all members of the all orchestras of Manchester, current players and old to take part in a rearrangement of a classic Manchester song that is further chosen but the Cutting Room audience. We would love to see 300 former players filling cutting room with the most authentic of Manchester sounds.
